Could I Still Be Pregnant Despite Having Spotting Along With Negative UPT?

Hi, a week ago my boyfriend and I had a mishap with the condom. I have been spotting for the past 4 days now. I have woken up feeling very hungry and am eating way more than usual, I did take a test 7 days after but it came out negative. I also had all the symptoms of starting a period, cold sweats at night(2 nights), cramping and backache, but only lasted a couple of days. I dont have any cramps anymore but just the need to pee more.

Hello
I really appreciate your concern and I will definitely help you in best possible way

Looking at your description this spotting can be caused by pregnancy, infection or premenstrual symptoms or other genealogical conditions.

Urine pregnancy test generally comes positive only after 10 to 14 days of possible conception so it can be false negative

In my opinion you should repeat the test around or after 14 days of sex.
Cramping backache can be suggestive of infection as well which can be ruled out urine microscopy and urine culture test

If you can provide me more information like your age and relevant medical history with details of last menstrual periods, I will be able to help you even better
Please write back to me all the details so that I will be able to tell you more precisely.
Best wishes
